Oh precious free time...I'll miss you. With the advent of summer upon us, I'll probably do as I usually do and either be incredibly busy or barreling down the highway/at the lakeshore for ice cream. Last month I had that horrible cold that's goin round and it practically had me incapacitated for the entire month. Just had enough life in me to have Protoman over for the last weekend of May so we could promote TFcon at Anime North. Call me crazy or getting old but doing shows for an entire weekend that aren't completely Transformers related is just getting tougher and tougher to do every year...BAH WELL!
Put my Firebird back on the road this week...cleaned her up nicely yesterday complete with rim polish, leather polish, full body wash down, and complete window cleaning. And no...there was no booty denim shorts, white tank top, or Def Leppard playing so minds outta the gutter. I'll probably be driving her around a lot the next few days to make up for lost time. Also got another summer job for some extra income so I can piss most of it away on plastic transformable action figures...and school...I guess they want me to pay for that. Not to mention all the addition costs...parking, books, uniforms...yaaaay
Which reminds me (thinking about pissing away money)...Botcon is only 2 weeks away, and damn am I looking forward to seeing all the Transformers peoples I've met over the years again. Yes, there will be drinking. Yes, there will be tomfoolery. Yes, there will be skylarkings. Otherwise...it wouldn't be Botcon. My only concern right now is finding a liquor store near by. Doubt there's one on Disney's property so I will have to rely on semi-local Jeremy (AKA Gogdog) to help the tourists out. Shout out on this journal entry if you'll be at the show and come drink with the Cybertron.ca and TFW2005 crew!
After that it's about 5.5 weeks till TFcon....and that thought reminds me that I should probably get more work done on that
Still plenty of things to get done, including a panel that the Protoman and I will be doing together which expands on a classic favourite episode we did of Canadian Slag...needless to say the fangirls will love it and for what's coming together to be TFcon's year of the fangirl, I doubt Daniel and I will leave them disappointed
Customswise I got a bunch of ideas for the rest of the year...if quick things pop up that I can get done in an evening I'll take a break from my bigger projects to do those. Currently I'm working on that Hot Rod idea from way back but it's proving to be more difficult then previously expected. It'll get done one way or another. Also Daniel brought me that KO 77 Camero BB that transforms like the 07 Camero so I plan to get on him some time...maybe if I get bored or frustrated working on Hot Rod...we'll see. Another idea I had was recently completed by someone else so I'm in no rush to start him now but I'd still like to put this character in my collection, maybe I'll go in a different direction with him than this person did...the possibilities are endless!
